DESCRIPTION & MAIN PROPERTIES:
●JOINTSEAL POLYURETHANE SEALANT-PU40 is single part polyurethane based, high modulus sealant, which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form elastomeric mastic.
●Excellently water-proof, high bonding strength, oil resistant, aging resistant, salt fog resistant, and can bear long time vibration.
●Excellent adhesion on glass and metal, it is most suitable for bonding windshield in the automotive industry.
APPLICATIONS:
●Used for sealing for automotive windscreen, windows and scuttles;
●Also suitable for sealing in automotive, caravan, ship building and railway industry;
●Suitable for sealing, seam sealing, simple bonding as well as foribration reduction and sound deadening measures in crash body repair and car body construction.
ADHESION:
●JOINTSEAL POLYURETHANE SEALANT-PU40 exhibits excellent primerless adhesion to most non-porous materials (e.g. windshields, rear glass, side glass and other stationary glass.)
●Users must carry out own tests due to the great variety of substrates.
●The adhesion can be improved in many cases by pretreatment of the substrate with a primer.
DIRECTIONS:
●Application surface should be clean,dry and free from all contaminants,i.e,dust ,rust,grease etc.
●Cut the nozzle at an angle and apply the sealant with a standard caulking gun.
●Tool immediately to spread the sealant against all surface and give a smooth finish.

●Avoid contact with eyes.
●Keep out of reach of children.
●Please dispose of empty cartridge correctly.
●It is a low hazard product.
LIMITATIONS:
●Not suitable for aquariums and in areas of food preparation.
●Not recommended for use with PMMA,PP,PE,Teflon,Bituminous,Wax or Paraffin.
